Street Fighter 6: Best Gear and Accessories, Ranked
Here are the ultimate accessories and pieces of equipment for Avatars in Street Fighter 6.
Now that players can create funky-looking Avatars with customized apparel, Street Fighter 6’s World Tour and Battle Hub have turned into a mishmash of interesting characters. But the big question is, which accessories can help create the ultimate Avatar?
After all, in a fighting game like this, a player's avatar is one what puts fear in enemies’ hearts. Everyone wants their character to look as cool as the iconic Street Fighter brawlers. Fear not, as there are plenty of options available. These are the pieces of equipment that every Street Fighter 6 player must own to unleash their Avatar’s true potential.
The Square Glasses are a rare item that can be found in Bayside Park. They have the Aware Trait, which gets activated when the Drive Gauge is depleted. This will give the player a brief damage boost.

While the glasses don’t offer the biggest stat boosts, they are an ideal early-game accessory. Players can have them on or equip their effect to compensate for the lack of quick Drive regen before they level up.
With an extra +30 defense, the Oversized Shirt B is one of the best pieces of gear for beginners. It’s a common item that most downtown enemies drop. But the outfit’s damage-reducing Trait makes it a must-have in the early chapters of the World Tour mode.
To get the same effect, players can also obtain the Casual Dress Shirt B by battling low-level enemies. However, the casual version offers a defense boost of +27, slightly below the oversized shirt.
In World Tour’s chapter 5, players fight Retsu, an old monk who drops a golden chain upon getting knocked out. His Gold Chain Necklace comes with the “Throws 1” Trait, which increases the wearer's grapple strength by +15.

Although players will find better alternatives later in the game, the Gold Chain Necklace can help them defeat high-level NPCs by grappling and creating throw loops.
Despite being a common Merchant drop, the Thigh-High Socks are rare accessories that come with a practical Trait. They are equipped with the Focus 1 effect, which accelerates Drive Gauge refill. This can make it easier for an Avatar to use Special Moves.
The only downside to this piece of apparel is that it doesn’t go well with most outfits. However, players can hide it on their Avatars and transfer its effect to other pieces of equipment.
Not only do the Combat Gloves look cool, but they also come with two useful Traits: Peak Performance and High Voltage. With the former, players get a damage boost on all attacks. With the latter, they get to refill the Super Art bar faster.
These gloves are an excellent choice for completing side-quests that require defeating an enemy with Super Arts. But players can benefit from them in most boss fights of the World Tour mode.
Although the Full Face Helmet hides the Avatar’s appearance, it gives players a punch and defense buff. The helmet also comes with the Peak Performance Trait, which strengthens all strikes as long as the Vitality gauge is on +70%.

To get this piece of equipment, players will need to pay 10,000 Zenny to Merchant Mello in the caves of Mount Vashal. He can be found in Nayshall.
As an Ultra-type accessory in Street Fighter 6, the Officer’s Watch is a high-risk, high-reward item. Players wearing this watch can either get a buff or debuff for the entire match, depending on how they start it.
When wearing the Officer’s Watch, players must land the first strike of the match to boost their attacks afterward. However, if the enemy manages to attack them first, they will obtain the buff instead. For players with quick reflexes, it can be worth the risk.
The Fighter’s Hoody is an Ultra Top that grants a massive defense buff to its wearer. Players who equip this item get +104 block points, allowing them to take less damage and resist powerful strikes.
The good thing about the Fighter’s Hoody is that it has an extra Trait, Peak Performance. With this effect, players inflict additional damage when their Vitality is at 70% or above.
A good idea would be to pair the Fighter’s Hoody with the Ultra Fighter's Sweatpants for an added +106 defense.
Despite its goofy look, Blanka-Chan’s costume is one of the best pieces of gear in Street Fighter 6. The outfit boosts punch, kick, and unique attack strength, while also adding +110 to the Avatar’s defense.

The Blanka-Chan Costume also has the High Voltage Trait, which means it will accelerate the wearer’s Super Art gauge refill. Players can find the Blanka-Chan Costume in the Hard Reboot quest after meeting Blanka.
As the strongest accessory in Street Fighter 6, the Initiate’s Chain is a jack-of-all-trades item that boosts an Avatar’s punch, kick, throw, and unique attack strength. With this piece of equipment, players get up to 20 extra damage for their main strikes and throws.
To get the Initiate’s Chain, players will first need to unlock India in the World Tour mode and then pay 4,200 Zenny to Merchant Hawker at Dhalsimer Temple.
Street Fighter 6 is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
