An automatic opening mechanism makes it so simple to insert and eject capsules. The capsule ejects itself when the coffee is finished brewing, then moves into a storage container that holds around ten used capsules—which means less frequent emptying. You can then collect the capsules and return them to Nespresso for free recycling. Unfortunately, Nespresso does not offer reusable capsules. Third-party reusable capsules are available, though they may not perform as well as expected.
